A fully equipped woodworking and boat building shop located in Orleans on beautiful Cape Cod.

Pleasant Bay Boat and Spar Company - a new name for a growing business, was founded in 1999 as Marine Restoration and Salvage.

Only the name has changed. The original owner, Suzanne Leahy, runs the shop with a skilled crew who has grown with her over the years.

The business has evolved into two divisions, the first division which includes custom and production boatbuilding, boat restoration and storage and then the second division which includes both spar fabrication and custom wooden flagpole design and construction.

Pleasant Bay Boat and Spar Company (PBBS) has a fully equipped woodshop, boatbuilding shop and storage yard that provides a wide range of boat yard services on an intimate scale providing customers with superb service and craftsmanship.

Mission Statement

Over thirty years of experience have gone into the founding of Pleasant Bay Boat and Spar Company, continuing the long standing tradition of boat building and craftsmanship by providing expert design, construction, restoration and repair. We uphold the proven techniques of the past, while welcoming the technology and materials of today. We are a successful and well-recognized business that is committed to the customer's vision and needs for pleasurable small boat ownership.
